This desktop version of the Discus robot is specially designed for office use: robust mechanics and high quality workmanship make this an ideal machine for 24 hour use, for the production of CDs, DVDs or Blu-rays.

DISCUS X-RL 1.0 is the advanced development of ADR's robot systems Hurricane and Cyclone. It offers modern design, scalability, and a production process which is system-based and fully automatic, in pre-defined time intervals if desired.

This robot system will burn and label up to 120 media per hour, depending on the data volume and the technical options used for the production and printing of CDs, DVDs or Blu-rays. OpenRC, the software framework, manages all functions of the robot. A web GUI allows control and management of the robot independent of platform and location.

Various different options allow the production of individual CDs, DVDs and Blu-rays to take account of customers' wishes and needs:
