Domain registration and web hosting

Having (or rather, designing) one's own internet presence is now a standard requirement for companies, and has been for some time. But the first question is: how does a company get an appropriate domain? X-Net is a successful service provider in this area: we will support customers and make sure they get the most suitable website for their purposes.

Apart from registering Austrian and international domains, X-Net looks after the necessary entries in the DNS server (domain name service server). This ensures that the customer's domain is known and that it is accessible and available for services such as email, web sites etc.

Additionally, X-Net provides webspace for their customers. The servers used for this purpose are to be found in the data processing service center of Interxion, Vienna, connecting directly to the Vienna Internet Exchange. This guarantees optimal capability and high security for storage space. As possible options, X-Net provides Zope (CMS) or PostgreSQL, among others.
