X-Net at the Herrenstraße Festival: a summer festival full of innovation and music
For the second time, X-Net was part of the Herrenstraße community at the Herrenstraße Festival.
3D printing: A highlight for all age groups
This year, the 3D printer was particularly impressive. Over many hours, it conjured up a multicolored piggy bank, which is intended for monetary contributions to regular team cooking sessions. The precision and colorful results fascinated visitors, who eagerly followed the printing process and listened to the team's explanations.
There was a special treat for the younger visitors: creative 3D printed items to take home. These small, colorful souvenirs were highly sought after and made children's eyes light up.
Musical highlight: The Mollies rock Herrenstraße
The crowning glory of the day was provided by the Mollies, Linz's oldest rock band. From 7 p.m. onwards, they transformed the corner of Herrenstraße/Spittelwiese into a rock/pop zone and created an exuberant atmosphere. With their rousing rhythms and classics from rock and pop history, they got the audience dancing and singing along.
Conclusion: A successful day full of innovation and community
The Herrenstraße Street Festival was once again a resounding success this year, demonstrating once more the diversity that can be found in this small but charming shopping street in Linz. The combination of gastronomy, retail, innovative technology, music, and much more shows just how diverse and vibrant the Herrenstraße community is.
